In the event Terrebone parish area is advised to evacuate for a hurricane our office will close until it is safe to return. We will make every attempt to contact you if you are scheduled for an appointment. If we do not reach you before the storm, we will try after we return to our office.

If you plan to evacuate and would like to take your maternity records with you, please call our office as soon as you know you are leaving so we will have ample time to copy your chart. Please remember to take all important personal information with you (ex: driver’s license, insurance card…). Evacuate to an area that has a hospital which performs deliveries nearby. When you get to your safe location locate the hospital and keep phone numbers handy for emergency.

If you choose to stay in Terrebone parish area and you have an emergency call our office, 985-XXX-XXXX, our answering service should be able to contact the doctor on call. In the event that the phone lines are not working, please contact or report to the nearest emergency room

Once the storm has cleared and it is safe to return, please call our office if you missed an appointment or if you had any complication while we were closed.
Please check to see if Teche Regional Medical Center is open, as if they are open, Dr. Morice will be seeing all patients and doing all deliveries for all doctors at Teche Regional Medical Center.
